Yes, Good game made this strategic and well rounded game that will keep you interested for a long time. You really do have to survive in this thriving land, some people make it to level 70, some only make it to 4. I come everyday and I have made friends and gotten more than halfway through the game.
HOWEVER, If I could I would give this game a 4 1/2. because of obnoxious updates. Most updates don't make the game better, they happen at least once a month. I actually got bored because of an update and started writing this review! Besides that, it's RAD!

PS, If your a child, be careful because cursing IS allowed!👑👑👑

I absolutely adore this game! I first ran across GGS on addictinggames.com when I tried Bigfarm. After trying the get it on my kindle fire as an app, but not finding it in my app store, I looked it up on my kindle's web browser, finding that Bigfarm was only available on PC, but that they did have other games. That's how I discovered Empire: Four Kingdoms. And with the new updates, I love it even more!! Clear, simple instructions and graphics - and so much to do! Create and build your own kingdom; battle, declare war, trade goods, and create pacts, treaties, and agreements with other lords; and meet people from all over by joining an alliance or creating your own...or go at it alone.

several years have passed now and I have to add that my game which had so much raw progress without any in app purchase influence disappeared - likely from the games inactivity streak deletion I came to realize must’ve happened after losing my tablet for awhile to upgrade I came to log in again and it was gone with little help from support

It's normally a pretty fun game. It's very active the first few levels but by the time you get to level 8 or so, the quests require you to be a higher level (10+) to complete. It can be pretty slow going higher up.

A LOT of things require money that I feel should be free it at least some how achievable without paying real money. This includes the ability to build more than one thing at a time, certain defenses, etc. It takes a long time to be able to upgrade certain buildings or expand your castle.

Also, there seems to be a lot of issues with the updates. I'm writing this right now because I've been locked out of the game. It lures you in to update now and receive 100 rubies (extra currency) but there's no way to surpass the dialog box and the update isn't available yet. This is a common occurance, it takes hours to be able to update.

Ocerall, this could be a great game but they need to fix a few things before I consider it a great game.

It's fun to play and yes player in the game it us slow going but that's with a lot of games. I think all games are harder when you get further into the game. You don't need to spend real life money in order to level up it just takes time. It has a lot if cool features that other games don't and has a fun experience as long as you stay active. It has aspects that keep you interested like completely new kingdoms and outposts to keep you occupied. I think that it is a great game and you should definitely get it. The update part is fixed and I have 0 problems with the game.

Hello folks, and welcome to the Corner of critics, where I attack or praise games.

Empire: Four Kingdoms is a medieval strategy game set in the Great Empire where you can build up your castle, capture outposts, and more. There are mighty alliances made by real players and some even have their own economic infrastructure. There are also three other kingdoms: Everwinter Glacier, Burning Plains, and Fire Peaks. All in all, this game is great. But there are some issues. For example, rubies (the premium currency) are all too easy to buy. Rubies can be used to buy premium units, outside your castle with most vendors who sell strong units, and to open treasure chests. The buildings, as you get higher in level, also take longer to build and upgrade. Want to upgrade your keep? Nine hours. Of course, if you want to complete it right away, there's always rubies. Make some swordsmen? One hour. There are also features like attack protection and handing over your resources without a fight that cost nothing other than rubies. In short, this is a cash grab behind an extremely fun game.

I've played idly for a week. It's quick and entertaining early on and very engaging. But after a day or two, the build timers go to 45 minutes and much higher. At a week, pretty much everything is at 2+ hours (level 14).
The game pushes you to PvP so if that's not your thing, move on. Yes, that's what I'm doing because I don't enjoy PvP on a mobile. (why would anyone?) My "protection mode" from PvP attacks is ending shortly so my interest is as well.
So a week in and I have 6k gold. I can't really spend it on anything so it just stockpiles. Rubies are what they want you to throw your cash on and they aren't cheap. I would have preferred to pay 5 or 6 bucks up front for a decent game but am not going to give a penny towards the rubies the way this game is currently built.
For those of you that don't mind microtransactions (for a mobile game), by all means, go for it. That's just not my cup of tea.

The game itself isn't bad -- with some design changes, it might even be worth regularly playing.

The game itself is a great idea and very fun. The problem is price. Once you level up if you don't spend at least $250 a month you aren't even close to competitive. We understand spenders should have an advantage but its so huge you simply can't win a battle at all and every update it gets more expensive and widens the hall between the rich and the normal.

Also Goodgames has no problem lying in support or even their own forum. That's very frustrating. If you complain to support too much they ban you so if you ever have a problem you can not get it resolved.

Until they reduce the price by a third I'd advise not downloading it. It Sucks you in and gets you to spend enough money you feel like you are losing money if you quit. Then they keep adding buildings that are necessary to be competitive that cost real money.

Un juego en principio entretenido pero que puede llegar a ser demasiado adictivo, llevandote a pasar demasiadas horas encimas.
El primero de los juegos on line "gratis" pero que incorpora pagos dentro de la aplicación en los que he invertido dinero... y también el último.
En un principio empiezas a poner algo de dinero para no quedarte atrás, algunos edificios importantes que marcan la diferencia entre jugadores requieren de rubíes, la moneda del juego. Posteriormente las herramientas usadas en los ataques y defensas marcan la diferencia y al final se hace necesario utilizar las que cuestan rubíes. Así también tenemos tropas que se consiguen en supuestas ofertas que hacen que algunos caigan, el problema es la aparición de jugadores "ludópatas" que gastan grandes sumas diarias y revientan el juego, haciendo que no se pueda seguir su ritmo pues el tiempo de reposición de las perdidas de tropas de un jugador normal es enorme en comparación.
Ademas los desarrolladores cada poco tiempo implementan nuevas actualizaciones "para aumentar la riqueza en la experiencia del juego" pero que significa nuevos eventos para pasar por caja.
Mi experiencia de dos años dentro del juego, dos años de duermevela pues los ataques vienen a cualquier hora del día, con preferencia las horas de sueño, los sentimientos reales de odio y mal rollo que se desarrollan con los rivales llegandose a desear el exterminio de las alianzas confrontadas, (expuesto en el muro de alguna de ellas este deseo) me hacen desaconsejar encarecidamente no solo este si no parecidos tipos de juegos que en mi opinión afecta realmente a la propia salud tanto física como mental de sus usuarios.
